Recipe

Refreshing drink may be made of the entire plant: For every pound of fresh washed leaves, make a syrup by bringing 5 cups of water, 1 cup of sugar to a boil. Add leaves after shredding them. Boil only a few minutes. Remove from heat. Let steep 2-3 hours. Strain and refrigerate a couple of hours. Pour into a pitcher with soda water and serve over ice. Beautiful green colour and refreshing tart flavour.
